I was in Asahikawa last week. It is a new city for me and I loved the feeling of wilderness around it. It is surrounded by mountains and a mountain river flows through the city. I discovered this river the first morning when I went out for a walk and as I walked beside it I realized that my idea of relaxation these days is to hire a bicycle and ride beside a river. I am an explorer and it struck me that rivers are explorers too. Over millions of years they have found the most natural and harmonious paths through the landscape. It is perhaps why I feel both alive and at ease when I am next to a river.

Insight into elements and Tree of Life
Each time I went to this river I received truly inspirational thinking. The first sequence followed this exploring idea and came to a beautiful way to see the four elements interacting to create this journey of exploration. It offers a deeper insight to understanding the relationship between the four worlds of the Tree of Life.
