Today, 21st September, is one of the two equinoxes of the year – the time when the length of daylight and darkness are equal. It is a point of balance but also a point of change.
Summer to Winter
Here in the northern hemisphere it is the change from yang to yin: as summer departs we will spend less time outside (yang) and as nights become longer we will go indoors (yin) more. Eventually we will reach the Winter Solstice, the mid-winter moment when the energy is deepest within the earth. Trees and plants are deep in their roots and many animals are hibernating underground. It is easy to see this as the reddest moment of the year. It is very fitting therefore that this is the moment when both Father Christmas and the Christ will appear as a pulse of red energy to initiating the re-awakening, the start of energies rising again.

Red to Green
This impulse to rise again from red will naturally lead to full summer. The green shoots of Spring will open and reach their fullest extent by mid-summer – the Summer Solstice, a lush green reaching out and up to the sky – the very opposite of the roots of red. Here is the Djwal Khul of expansion, extension into space, anti gravity, wishing to be the light. This is the very opposite of the Christ: both colour-wise (Emerald Green / Clear compared to the Christ’s Clear/Red), and message-wise – reaching up or reaching down. It is easy to see how the traditional Yin Yang symbol could have been Green/Red rather than today’s Black/White.

Light and Dark: Metatron
Aura-Soma Equilibrium bottle B100 is called Metatron. Clear/Deep Magenta: it is the Equilibrium bottle that most perfectly expresses the balance of equal light and dark. (Did you know it was born on an equinox – March 21st 2000!)

If we consider Metatron according to the ideas above, its perfect balance of light and dark, yang and yin, will bring it to correspond with the equinox – the moment when the energies are exactly midway between top and bottom. In the chakra system this would correspond to the heart chakra – exactly half way between crown and base chakra. The equinox day will be a day when our own chakra energy system, through its resonance with the greater cycle of planetary energy, will also be experiencing a moment of balance poised at the heart, as this greater energy flow makes its way down from the crown chakra of summer to the root chakra of winter.
It is so interesting then isn’t it that 10 which is so closely related numerically to 100 should, in Equilibrium, be B10 – the Green/Green Equilibrium of the heart energy centre.
Equinox is a midpoint of energy flow, 100 is a light and dark balance that corresponds to equinox. Through number 100 is related to 10 which as Green/Green is also a mid point balance – the middle point of the chakra system. Since 100 is an amplification of 10 we can ask the question “What does Metatron add to the heart?”
A window into deeper possibilities
Have you ever run or cycled in the half light of dusk as day gives way to night? I find it a magical experience – moving fast in the half light – as if gliding through unreality. It is easy to understand how dusk and dawn are seen as a moment of power in magic circles, a gap between the worlds. I think this is a good way to understand what Metatron offers.
In this moment of balance and change in the yin / yang cycle of life on earth, a window opens at the equinox. B10 is the green of the midpoint heart but B100 Metatron opens a window at the heart to allow a deeper possibility to enter this world. A gap though which “What you really, really want” may appear. It will often be something unexpected, it may not be easy to say yes to, maybe you don’t even need to say yes, but it is a space for a deeper possibility to appear.
In this moment of turning, through the gap, the unexpected may appear …
