Today was a big earthquake in Japan. I am here teaching in Nagoya south of Tokyo. This afternoon, day 1 of the class, we were looking at Tarot cards and bottles a d placing them in the Tree of Life. Each student had chosen a card and we were slowly going around the room. It had just been my turn. Mine was the 4 of Pentacles. It shows a seated man, one pentacle above his head, another held to his chest. These two locations for the pentacles match the colours of the bottle B75 Magenta over Turquoise. They represent living from a spiritual perspective. It is with this consciousness that we can live the name of this bottle which is “Letting Go. Go with the Flow.”
The other two pentacles in the picture represent the challenge. He is holding them under his feet. They represent a continuing attachment to the physical. On the right side of the Tree – the side of flow – at the soul level, there remains a tendency to value the security of the earth beneath our feet. Yet the invitation is to rise into spiritual consciousness and go with the flow.
I had just finished speaking of this subject, felt I had come to a natural conclusion, and so announced to the students “I won’t say anything for a couple of minutes, give you a space to consider this.” It was literally just a couple of seconds later that the room started shaking!!! Truly we were we offered the chance to experience our attachment to physical security!
An earthquake is no joke. It is deadly serious. We were lucky. Others were not. I and the class wish all peace and support to those affected by this one.
