We had an excellent start to the consultation skills course in Amsterdam today. 16 students including attendees from England, Belgium and Turkey, very fitting in such a cosmopolitan city. We finished with an example consultation that was deep and powerful. Students were amazed by the depth and intimacy revealed in the session even though as a Practitioner I appeared to do or say almost nothing at all!
Personally I love that consultations have a life and dynamic of their own. I don’t need to drive the session - the energy for growth is already in the relationship between the client and their four bottles. It is the colour within Equilibrium that does the work – stimulating the client to awareness. All i need to do is tend the unfolding process with a sensitive caring detachment, while deeper within, I hold their process and support their integration of it.
Every consultation is a journey of discovery. How i love this work!
